A STUDY ON WOMEN’S LIBERATION IN ARUNDHATHI ROY’S

Arundhati Roy’s The God of Small Things is a cruel attack on the casteism and male shut leaning portion of the Indian culture wherein men overpower women, the high society cover the persecuted with hostile silliness, and moreover the people who plunder others for improvement and progress. The epic also revealed political pietism as found in the microcosm of Ayemenem. Ayemenem, a little town in Kerala, transforms into a smaller than usual galactic world, a stage for the approval of social camouflage where women and untouchables are viciously abused and misdirected.
