INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY PROFICIENCY OF TEACHERS

This descriptive study focused on the information and communication technology proficiency of P. A. Cuaycong Elementary School teachers. The respondents were the thirty-two (32) teachers who were chosen at random from the total of thirty-four (34). The level of ICT proficiency in the areas of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Excel of the teacher respondents were assessed using a researcher-made questionnaire. The validity and reliability of which was established by five competent panel of evaluators chosen for the purpose. The frequency count, mean, and standard deviation were employed as statistical tools. The t-test was used for inferential statistics at 0.05 level of significance. Findings revealed that the level of ICT proficiency of teachers at P.A. Cuaycong Elementary School, when taken as a whole and when grouped according to subject, was High.
